Introduction: Indian Air Force invites Applications for recruitment of Commissioned Officer Posts through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) – 02 / 2015

For Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2016 i.e. Born between 02 July 1992 to 01 July 1996 (Both Dates inclusive).(Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA(India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. Born between 02 July 1990 to 01 July 1996 (Both dates inclusive).
For Technical Branch/ Ground Duty Branches: 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2016 i.e. Born between 02 July 1990 to 01 July 1996 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: Candidate’s Educational Qualification should be Graduate (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech degree (Four year course) from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together. Candidates should refer to the official notification for more details regarding Educational Qualification.

Selection Procedure for AFCAT 2015: Selection will be based on AFCAT & Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) (for those candidates who have applied for Technical Branch only), Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Tests and Interview. CPSS (Computerised Pilot Selection System) and or PABT (for those candidates who have applied for Flying Branch only).
